Parkdale sits in the Upper Hood River Valley, about 16 miles south of Hood River, with Mount Hood filling the windshield the whole way up. The town itself is tiny, a few hundred people, and the surrounding valley is orchard country.
Buyers come up here for the view and the land, and they are usually choosing between a house on a lot in town and something with acreage attached. Those are very different purchases.
